Daniel A. Stout, PhD
Professor Stout is founding co-editor of the Journal of Media and Religion
(Routledge) as well as the recent Media and Religion: Foundations of a New Field
(Routledge). His co-edited books and co-authored articles with Judith Buddenbaum are well known in the field. Professor Stout worked at the Houston Chronicle and teaches strategic communication. After faculty appointments at BYU–Provo and the University of South Carolina, he was Director of the Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Bryce Marvin grew up in rural Eastern Oregon where he learned hard work through physical labor. He served two years as a full-time voluntary mission in Chile where he learned Spanish and left a piece of his heart. Now Bryce is a senior at BYU-Hawaii and finishing his degree in International Cultural Studies and Communications. He is happily married and is known for having the cutest baby girl on Earth.
